Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Jersey City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Solid, reliable, reasonably priced Thai food. Love their Pad Thai, and had their signature udon most recently and it is amazing. Solid all around. Love their chicken spring rolls also. The mango sticky rice was okay, probably would not get again.

When this place first opened up, every dish was delicious and I couldnβt get enough of it now I go to order for pick up and every time I order something is so disappointed. I used to love the fried chicken with fried rice and the last time I got it, it was dry and tasty, and it just was not the same. Now I got the drunken noodles and by the time I got home, they were all stuck together, which I understand, but at the same time they were flavorless I literally picked through the meal and got the five pieces of chicken that was thrown in there And at $17 for a takeout, I would expect a little bit more when Iβm doing the pick up. It was really disappointing and Iβve given it about four or five tries and at this point Iβm done. I wouldnβt go back here.

Really great Thai food with a variety of vegetarian options. We were one of the last customers for the day and they were happy to accommodate our orders and preferences. The food was delicious with the right amount of spice level we ordered. The veggie massaman curry was really good so were the dumplings

I love Thai food not only because of the affordable prices and the variety of flavors. Found myself in jersey city and decided to check out this spot. It's a nice cozy spot, interior not to big (can sit five groups of two.) ordering is simple, at the front but the wait time is a bit long (seems like mostly for deliveries) The food was ok, the basil rice didn't have much of the basil flavor but it hit the spot, the drunken noodles was a bit overly salted.

I had never eaten Thai food before and I was told to come here. At Thai Plate they serve some really good food. I tried a couple of dishes and I still want more. My first time trying Pad Thai w/ Beef was amazing, chewy noodle flavorful sauce and tender beef. The crispy salmon was excellent as well, crispy, flaky and a really good fried rice. They also have good curries that come as is or with a protein. Please do pass by this restaurant and give it a shot you wonβt be disappointed.
